Ponovna dominacija Oppenheimera: Nakon BAFTA dodjele nagrada, ekipa filma godine bogatija za još 7 kipića

Sezona filmskih nagrada i dalje traje, a sinoć je u Londonu održana 77. dodjela BAFTA-e koju dodjeluje Britanska akademija filmske i televizijske umjetnosti. Smatra se ujedno i najprestižnijom dodjelom filmskih nagrada u Velikoj Britaniji, a odličan je uvod za 96. dodjelu Oscara koja će se održati 11. ožujka.

Kao veliki pobjednici, kući su otišle i ekipe filmova 'Poor Things' i 'The Zone of Interest', a najveće razočaranje definitivno je bio film Martina Scorsesea 'Killers of the Flower Moon' koji je nakon devet nominacija, ostao bez svih nagrada.

Svečanu dodjelu otvorila je Sophie Ellis-Bextor sa svojom legendarnom pjesmom Murder on the Dancefloor (ponovno popularizirana zahvaljujući filmu 'Saltburn'), a cjelokupni je program vodio glumac David Tennant. Osim brojnih zvijezda koje su uveličale veliku filmsku noć, posebna je pažnja bila i na britanskom princu Williamu, predsjedniku BAFTA-e koji je na dodjelu stigao sam, ali se družio s australskom glumicom Cate Blanchett.
